LIMESTONE FOUNTAINS

Traditionally "source of life", the limestone fountains were an essential element in the life of cities and villages of the South of France. Cities and Villages daily life surrounded the limestone fountains to give access to drinking water to the population. It is with the same know-how and expertise, that modern French artisans hand-carved and patinated the local limestone to bring to life these unique limestone elements of the past.  Traditionally this limestone was also used to make limestone basins, limestone wells and planters that also brought character and uniqueness to our landscapes of our environment.
